Holcim Argentina, leader in innovative and sustainable solutions for construction, received the “Silver” certification from the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) for its concrete North Plant in Córdoba.
This is a milestone for the Argentine construction industry as it becomes the first concrete plant in the country to obtain the CSC Certificate.
To obtain this certification, the plant had to be evaluated and 3rd party verified in five categories with main topics such as: Management, Environment, Health and Safety, Compliance, Human Resources, Social Responsibility, Economic Responsibility and Supply Chain.
This certification reflects Holcim’s goal to reduce its environmental impact and advance its Net Zero commitment as a 2030 strategy plan.
“Holcim has a very clear goal of reducing its environmental impact and it is part of its business strategy. This certification from the Concrete Sustainability Council reflects this ambition and leaves us very well positioned to meet these challenges”, highlighted the CEO of Holcim Argentina, Christian Dedeu.
